One of the most important ministries of the church is that of our Greeters, those who express Christ’s love and warm welcome to members and non-members entering through our doors. When a person steps into a church for the first time, he or she considers the atmosphere. He asks himself, “Will they accept me? Will my spiritual and physical needs be met?” She wonders, “Will it be easy to make friends? Will it be easy to find my way around?” The newcomer will quickly come to some conclusions during the first few minutes. First impressions are often lasting impressions. Consequently, the ministry of the Greeters is one of the most important things that happens in any congregations. Will you consider doing this important service?
