Sunday Worship

8:00 am
A traditional worship service style that uses both the organ and piano, plus a variety of special music offerings.

9:15 & 10:30 am
A worship service style that will blend traditional and contemporary sounds and musical selections, along with special music offerings from the adult choir, Sunday School children, bells and soloists.

Holy Communion is offered to all who gather on the First and Third Sundays of each month.  We welcome all of our brothers and sisters in Christ to come forward and receive Christ’s love and forgiveness.  Good Shepherd encourages children to worship with their families, although nursery care is available during the 9:15 & 10:30 services.

Wednesday Messy Worship

6:30pm (September – April)
Life is Messy… but the good news is that God is with us in the mess!  Messy Worship is an opportunity to connect with God in the messiness of our lives through narrative storytelling, experiential prayer stations and meditative practices.  While youth bring energy on Wednesday night, enter the Sanctuary prepared for children, youth and families coming together to focus their attention on God’s love.

Messy Worship will follow a four week rotation where Sunday’s story will be told from a different perspective.  The four week rotation begins with Holly Communion & Narrative Storytelling, followed by Lectio Divina, Prayer Stations and Visio Divina.

A special offering is collected at Messy Worship that is dedicated towards supporting outside organizations making a difference in the World.  This past fall we collected funds to go towards Shobi’s Table, a new mission supported by the St Paul Area Synod.  Starting in January the special offering will go to Lutheran World Relief.

Jubilee Sundays

These worship opportunities are for children, youth and adults to intentionally come together to explore in a unique way.  A special themed Jubilee Worship is creatively designed so that children, youth and adults have the opportunity to learn, lead and worship at the same time.  On Jubilee Sundays, instead of children and youth attending classes at 9:15, we provide opportunities for them to lead portions of the worship service with adults at all services.
