Welcome to Good Shepherd
Whether one’s feet are big or small, fresh or worn, running or crawling we are Together on the Journey, Sharing God’s love.
We are an intergenerational faith community with all generations of God’s children walking side by side, together on the journey.
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is committed to providing a Christ-centered, relationship-building, intergenerational community.
What To Expect
When you arrive at church, there will be someone at the door to greet you, feel free to ask them any questions or check out the card in the pew with more information about what to expect in our services. For information about activities and ministry events check out our brochure rack near the welcome desk.
Worship each week
Where the Good News of Jesus’ love for all people at every age in every place on their journey is proclaimed.
Each worship service lasts about 45 minutes. You are invited to come as you are. There is no dress code. We have ADA accessible parking in both the front and the back of the building, spaces in the back are closest to an entrance.
8:30am & 9:45am (during the School Year)
9:00am (Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend)
All are Welcome to Holy Communion
Holy Communion is offered to all who gather each week. We provide non-alcoholic wine, juice, and provide a gluten free option for bread.
Children in Worship
Children of all ages are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend worship services. We welcome and encourage families with small children to sit near the front – children are able to engage in worship more fully and we love their wiggles and giggles. Our nursery is available for parents or grandparents with infants and toddlers.
There are multiple learning opportunities for people of all ages on Sunday and throughout the week, please check out our ministries tab for more information.
Become a Member
Good Shepherd welcomes you to join us in the vibrant life of this faith community!
Become a member by completing a membership form. A pastor or member may reach out to you to welcome you to the congregation and answer any questions you may have. Twice a year, usually in the fall and spring, we conduct a Meet & Greet activity to acquaint you with our church. The evening includes an introduction to Good Shepherd and its vision and mission, a brief overview of Lutheran theology, the opportunity to meet other new members and enjoy refreshments. We recommend that all new members come to the Meet & Greet. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Leesa Soderlind email@example.com.
